Here we try to answer some of the questions you may have

Q. What types of event do you cater for?

A. We cater for a wide range of events such as Weddings (our speciality), Corporate evenings, Awards evenings, Engagements, Birthday and Anniversary parties for all ages, School Proms, School Discos, Theme Nights, Pub & Club Sets, Festival Sets.

Q. Do you have Public Liability Insurance as my venue requires DJs to have this?

A. Yes, Fine Time Events is fully protected as a member of the Association of Mobile and Party DJs (AMPDJ) up to £4m. Certificate available on request.

Q. Is your equipment electrically tested to make sure it is fire safe?

A. Yes, all of the electrical mobile equipment is tested (PAT) each year for faults.

Q. Do I get a confirmation of my booking?

A. Yes, all bookings are confirmed which includes the terms and conditions of our agreement.

Q. Can I have an invoice for our account purposes?

A. Yes, invoices are available for private individuals booking and are issued as a matter of course for corporate events.

Q. What music will you play? Can we give you a play list?

A. Fine Time Events works with clients to ensure their music choice is catered for and requests are taken on the night of your event. We recommend playlists are kept to around 20 songs so the DJ can tailor the music on the night when reading the crowd.

Q. We are getting married and have details we need the disco to work around

A. That’s fine. During the build up to your big day Fine Time Events will be in regular contact as necessary to ascertain your requirements and will ensure timings are met, the first dance is when you require it and any other requirements are catered for.

Q. How do you know what to play?

A. With over 25 years of experience of working crowds in pubs, clubs, festivals and at mobile events you can be assured Fine Time Events have a wealth of music knowledge to know what works with different types of crowds at certain points in the night. The DJ will read the crowd and adapt to what is working well rather than sticking to a pre-rehearsed set.

Q. Do you use professional equipment?

A. Yes, equipment used comes from manufacturers such as Pioneer DJ, Mackie, ADJ and LEDJ.
